Asha Thadani is a photographic artist based in Bangalore, India. Asha began making pictures in 1996. Largely self taught, her style consists of vivid and energetic imagery capturing remote cultures, antiquated traditions and contemporary life.

Asha has mostly sought inspiration from India to document and narrate stories that at their core spirit have universal relevance.

Asha's work has been published in magazines, books, calendars and advertising projects all over the world.

Asha Thadani has exhibited her work solo at the Albert Kahn Museum,Paris.
Her work has been exhibited and auctioned at Christies Auction House and Gallery, Paris.
Thadani was nominated for the prestigious Henri Cartier Bresson award 2015.
